Apologies

For all of you Anonymous readers out there, yes I know my writing skills aren't the best and I don't understand why you care? I'm not being paid for this I do this all in my free time around my hectic schedule because I want too. If you don't want to read because you find it too hard to follow or understand, fine don't read it see if I care. I don't know any of you.

As for Dri finding out about Damon, I'm sorry for the drag with the story line I didn't it came across that way but the next post will have everything come into the light

  1. I really enjoy your blog and love the storyline. But I do have to say, the commenters on the last post weren't rude in their comments at all and were just trying to give constructive criticism. Most bloggers start writing in order to improve their skills, while also telling a story. I could understand your hostility if the people commenting were rude, but they weren't. They were just trying to help you improve your posts because some of the posts can be difficult to read due to run on sentences or random changes of POV. If you only want comments praising your work, I would suggest disabling the comment feature.

  2. I was one of the commenters on the last post. I apologize if you thought I was rude. It was not meant to be a rude comment, just constructive criticism like the person above stated. We don't grow as writers if we don't take the negative in stride as well as the positive. I stated I love the story line, and I stand by that. I do hope you can go back and read those comments with a constructive mind.

    1. Agreed.

I was another one of the anons from the last posts as well, and I really struggled with whether or not to tell you and I waited for a long time. I was worried about being rude, and I don't think I was, but I think your response was written out of hurt feelings and not really understanding my point.

I care your writing quality because it is literally impossible to understand this blog sometimes. I have to read a sentence three or four times over just to understand what you're trying to say. That's not effective writing, at all. That makes it not matter that you do this for free, because it makes it seem half-assed and unplanned and unthoughtful.

  3. Maybe try not being so defensive and rude to YOUR readers when someone gives a valid, constructive critisism.

"fine don't read it see if I care" - that attitude will get you nowhere personally or professionally. Also, that phrase was not punctuated correctly. lol I agree with above, disable comments if you don't want actual constructive feedback or opinions.

  4. I've read your blog since the beginning and I love the story but the other commenters are right, sometimes it's hard to follow. The sentences are sometimes incoherent and you have a lot of run-on sentences. I went back to the previous post to read what was said and I honestly think the anons weren't rude. They were just giving constructive criticism. I believe that their aim wasn't to tear you down but to help you improve as a writer.

I'm a writer and I know how hurtful it can be when your writing is criticized especially when you put a lot of work into it. You should take the criticism and learn from it. Having an I don't care attitude doesn't help you learn.

I don't know what your future plans are but if you ever want to be a published author you have to learn to deal with criticism and rejection. The publishing world can be VERY brutal!

If you like I can help you proof read posts before they go up. I really like this blog and I want to see it flourish.

  5. I tried to comment yesterday and accidentally deleted, I was just going to say I hope you continue your blog! I know it can be hard to take constructive criticism, but ultimately, that is often the best and most effective way to learn and improve your writing/skills. Don't let it get you down, look at it as a free tool to improve!
